Participation Requirements For Year End Awards, Scholarships, Youth World & Congress Teams

You must be a member in good standing to be eligible to receive a year end award or be considered for the youth world or congress teams. Please see the youth policies FAQ for complete details on year end awards and youth team qualifying.. Additional requirements for all KQHYA members wishing to participate in the AQHYA world show, Congress youth team or year end awards:

WORLD SHOW/CONGRESS TEAM/YES DELEGATES—Must complete all 4 of the following requirements.
1. Secure at least $150 in sponsorships for the Youth Show.
2. Work at Youth Show or pay $100.
3. Provide an item for the Silent Auction at the Youth Show or pay $100.
4. Provide items for the bake sale at the Youth Show and Topeka Show or pay $100.
For youth only wanted to earn

YEAR END AWARDS—Must complete all 3 of the following requirements.
1. Secure at least $100 in sponsorships for the Youth Show.
2. Work at Youth Show or pay $100.
3. Provide an item for the Silent Auction at the Youth Show or provide items for the bake sale at the Youth Show and the Topeka Show or pay $100.

KQHA Serrault/Gorthy & Heritage Scholarships
1. You must be a high school senior at the time of application
2. You must be a member of KQHYA for at least 3 years prior to application
3. Deadline for application is February 15th. Please see specific information on youth page for details on application.
