Welcome to KQHA

The Kansas Quarter Horse Association is the official state affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association. At the present time we provide a bi-monthly news publication, a college scholarship program for our youth, annual awards program for AQHA approved shows youth, amateur and open competitors, KS Kounts program for annual awards for open shows, a hall of fame for outstanding members and their horses and a clinic featuring AQHA approved judges. In addition we sponsor the annual AQHA show at the Kansas State Fair, judging team opportunities for youth at the AQHYA youth world and equestrians with disabilities competition at our KQHA managed events.

Welcome to the official site of the Kansas Quarter Horse Association. It is our hope that this site will provide information to our present members and answer questions for potential new members and interested surfers. In the future we hope to provide our members with the ability to conduct their business on line, at the present we provide printable forms for joining the membership, nominating open and amateur horses for year end awards and signing up for the KS Kounts program. In addition we provide an on line source of show bills for the KQHA approved shows and events such as our annual trail ride. Contact information is listed for our officers and board of directors. Our webmaster contact infomation is listed under the Contact Us button as well.
