3. All horses entered to the Kansas futurities retain their eligibility when sold providing the new owner is or immediately becomes a member of the Kansas Quarter Horse Association. It is the responsibility of the seller to provide the new owner with the information on futurity eligibility and furthermore it is the responsibility of the new owner to notify KQHA in writing of the change in ownership. A copy of the signed transfer must be included and the new owner is required to make all necessary payments as they come due.

4. All entries and payments should be made on the entry blanks provided for the current year. Information must be complete or entry will not be accepted. Payments should be made to the location indicated on the current year futurity entry forms.

7. Late entries will be allowed by paying original fees plus the late fee as defined in each division's rules.

8. Any payments by an insufficient check will result in the application of a $25.00 bad check fee plus all bank charges. All insufficient checks must be resolved with a certified money order or a certified check within 15 days. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the entry.

9. Absolutely no refunds will be made. Substitutions will be allowed in the event of the death of a horse, provided a signed veterinary certificate is provided.

10. The number of futurity go-rounds will be determined by the KQHA futurity committee on a yearly basis. The final placing will be the combined score of all judges with ties being broken as specified in the rules. Each go-round shall be placed by the judge thereof to at least 10 places if available. Failure of any entry to show in one of the go-rounds will result in a 0 score for that go-round being added to the cumulative score.

11. A tie breaker judge will be assigned prior to the start of the futurity.

12. The entries in all divisions shall be shown by the same exhibitor (exception only by death of an immediate family member or serious accident or illness of the exhibitor approved by the full futurity committee) in all go-rounds.
