Advertise In Our Newsletter & Web Site

At the annual meeting held on January 20, 2007 in Topeka, KS the KQHA Board of Directors assessed the viability of the monthly magazine.   After much discussion it was decided that the losses incurred were no longer sustainable by the organization.   The board decided to replace the magazine with a combination of a newsletter every other month and improvements to the web site www.kqha.com.   Many members present at the meetings expressed a desire to be able to continue to advertise with KQHA.   This letter outlines the opportunities available to you as advertisers.

The newsletter will be mailed to all current members.   It will also be distributed at local events by KQHA staff.   As an advertiser in the newsletter you will also receive space on the website depending on the size of your ad.   The table below outlines the advertising rates for the newsletter/web site.   All KQHA approved shows are required to place at least 1 full page ad in the newsletter.   Show bills will be placed on the website.   The newsletter will be published to mail around the 1 st of:   March, May, July, September, November & January.

In addition to these two options KQHA will also be producing a directory this year.   This publication will take the place of our directory issue and is slated to come out in early fall.   It will be distributed regionally and at all of the AQHA world shows.   It will be a perfect vehicle to promote your products to a larger area.   Please contact KQHA office at the address & phone  listed above for advertising rates.

Additional newsletter details. – At this time we will be having the newsletter printed in a manner which will not show photos to their best advantage.   We will test photographs but reserve the right to use them only on the website in the event they do not reproduce well.

If you desire a business card ad the best reproduction will come from the digital image rather than the card itself. If you do not have the digital image we can use a high resolution scanner but the results will not be as clear as the digital image.
