2011 KQHA Serrault-Gorthy Scholarship Recipients Named

For the 2011 school year the following KQHYA members have been awarded scholarships to attend the school of their choice.

Hannah Renken of Downs, KS will receive $5000.

Shanda Walker of Moscow, KS will receive $3000.

The deadline for the 2012 year will be March 15th, 2012.

The applicant must be a KQHYA member for a minimum of three years, and they must submit their high school transcript along with a personal essay. The topic should be about how the involvement with our association helped them. They also must send a thank you note to KQHA for publication on/on the newsletter/web site. Applications and essays will be judged by a committee of people who are not associated with KQHA. Deadline for application is March 15th of the applicants senior year. Applications are to be sent to the KQHA office and should include the applicants, name, address, phone number, email address (if available) and a photograph of the head and shoulders suitable for publication on the KQHA website and in a news release.
