Youth Sponsorships Due

It's time to be working on those sponsorships to help support your youth organization! This year think outside the box when requesting funds. Parents are a great place to start but also consider asking the feed store, people you buy hay from, the vet, tack store, other area horse enthusiasts such as trainers and breeders. Here are some selling points that you can use to justify your sponsorship requests.

1. All money being given goes directly to the youth fund, there are no paid employees.
2. KQHYA is an affiliate of KQHA, a non-profit educational organzation whose mission is to promote learning about the equine sector of agribusiness, sportsmanship, leadership, recreational riding and disabled riding competition.
3. All youth are welcome to join whether they own a registered American Quarter Horse or not and opportunites exist for non owners to participate via judging contests, horse bowl trivia contests, photography, art and public speaking.
4. Funding will be used to support activities throughout the year such as the youth leadership conference, youth world events and the All American Congress events.
