KQHYA Well Represented At YES Conference

KQHYA was well represented at the 2009 YES Conference held in Amarillo June 25th through June 27th. Each day was filled with motivational speakers including Rhett Laubach and Stewart Kennedy, group sessions and lots of entertainment. Break out sessions were divided into geographic regions so participants could meet new friends, share leadership tips and find solutions to problems they have within their state groups.

The AQHYA convention was held during the leadership seminar and national officers and regional directors were elected for the 2009 - 2010 year. KQHYA is proud to announce that Paris Nottingham from Lawrence, KS has been elected to a region 8 directorship along with Edwin Gaffney from Colorado and Katy Krshka from Oklahoma. Paris has served in various positions for KQHYA over the last several years including being a champion fund raiser. Paris, we are proud to have you represent Kansas at the national level!
