Results of Voting OnProposed Changes To Open And Amateur By-Laws At Annual Meeting

At the annual meeting of the amateur group on Saturday January 17, 2009 the proposal to change the organizational structure of the amateur association was discussed and voted upon by the membership present. The proposal to dissolve the board of directors and executive structure and operate as a committee under the board of KQHA was defeated and the amateur organization will continue to operate with its present structure.

At the annual meeting of KQHA the proposal to amend the bylaws to remove the manditory date of the 3rd Saturday in January for the annual meeting was discussed and voted upon by the membership present. The membership voted to remove the section regarding the manditory date from the by laws.
